Primary students at After School Tutoring will complete a diagnostic assessment in their first week.  From this assessment an individual tutoring plan will be agreed, written up and implemented by our teachers.  Student's progress will be monitored continuously and the plan adjusted where necessary.  The plan will include written work, computer work, practical work and educational games.  A multi sensory approach to learning will be encouraged to support individual learning needs.

Students will usually be asked to complete work in both Maths & English at primary level however, if we feel that a student requires tutoring in one subject more than the other, this will be incorporated into their plan.  Our qualified teachers are available to discuss your child's progress at the end of each session.

Homework can be supplied if requested or if the tutor feels that more consolidation work is required then they may give homework from time to time.
